Hansel and Gretel

             This story has been written by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm where there was a poor woodcutter who used to live with his wife and two children at the edge of the large forest. The boy was called Hansel and the girl was called Gretel.The woman was suffer from famine. Father was in really trouble to maintain the requirements of the family. But his wife didn't think about the children and her husband's problem. Instead of that she suggested her husband to leave them in the forest. The woodcutter didn't like the idea however he should have to accept her proposal. The children listen their talk so that they could not be able to sleep due to the hunger as well as thinking about the tomorrows trouble. Hansel got an idea to collect some shiny pebbles. Than kept them in his jacket pocket. The next morning woman woke them up and gave them some pieces of bread saying that it was their day meal. When they reached the middle of the forest they collected some firewood and burn the fire than they left the children there. Promising they would return soon collecting more firewood. As suggested they ate their of waiting so they slept. When they got up it was already dark so that Gretel started crying but Hansel console her as the moon shine they would find path to home with the help of shiny pebbles which he threw when they were moving to the forest. When they reached at home in morning their father became happy but mother was sad seeing them there.
